Hey, I'm Aurelija

I’m learning to be imperfect in a perfectionist world.

A world that keeps us busy, optimised and constantly reaching for the next thing before we’ve even had a moment to breathe inside the life we already have.

For a long time, I felt like I was doing everything I was supposed to do. Working hard, ticking boxes, chasing goals and trying to become the version of myself the world seemed to reward.

And still, somewhere underneath it all, I kept thinking: I have so much to be grateful for, so why do I feel so far away from myself?

This space is part of my journey back.

Back to slowing down. Back to creativity. Back to listening for what I actually want, not just what I’ve been taught to want. Back to the quieter cravings underneath the chores, to-do lists, trackers, screens and endless self-improvement.

The craving to have time.

To take a breath.

To exist without needing to prove, produce or perform.

I’ll share the fuller story soon, but for now, this is the short version.

This is a space to come back to ourselves, to live a little more honestly and to remember that we are allowed to exist exactly as we are.

“When things are shaky and nothing is working, we might realise that we are on the verge of something.”

- Pema Chödrön

Maybe growing up is not about becoming someone else, but finding your way back to the parts of you that were there all along, before the world told us who we 'should' be.
